In a recent survey, the PSOE lost in Andalusia after 30 years in power. Clearly, the Andalusians want a change of government. I wonder if in Extremadura will be happening the same, or else we " singularity" and the last bastion of the socialist homeland. I think not, even in Extremadura is fed up of three decades of socialism. Imagine, people of 30 who have only known in our region a form of government, the Socialist Party.
is no doubt that if democracy is the alternation in power, I agree with the statements of President Fernández Vara that "the long terms are" an anomaly "" and if one day decide to all administrations term limit, he does not seem wrong. In Progress Union and Democracy, we believe this type of essential democratic regeneration and in fact we have in our program.
• That we were the poorest region in 1983, and are the poorest region in 2011.
• That the demographic evolution of this region is stalled are 1,083,259 people, roughly the same number as in 1981.
• That the personal income of Extremadura, far up, it takes 30 years to the tail of the national assembly.
• That the unemployment rate is 24% and rising
• And finally, after 30 years of uninterrupted socialist government, we have in our region, an extensive and dense network of patronage.
There was a Nobel laureate, George Bernard, who made a statement very healthy for democracy, "Politicians and diapers should be changed often and for the same reasons" . With the vote of the citizens of course.

The Extremadura beginning to be tired of that power in this land, remains unique heritage of the socialist and increasingly there is a thought that spreads among citizens is that "actually socialists do not owe anything" . It is clear that the PP either, as are the other side of the same coin. It would be foolish to deny that our country has not prospered in the last thirty years, to tow the rest of the country and cohesion funds Europeans, but being even-handed balance what is the end of 30 years of socialist government? :
• that 36.2% of the population living in Extremadura, was the year 2009 below the poverty line, compared to 19.5% national average.
